Luxembourg Association for Children in Hospital at Cloche d’Or Shopping Center!

The non-profit association Luxembourg Association for Children in Hospital (LACH) will host an educational and fundraising event on 21 February at Cloche d’Or Shopping Center.

 LACH is committed to promoting a child-friendly healthcare approach which is rights-based, child-focused and ensures children’s participation in healthcare decisions affecting them, taking into account their abilities, as well as the active involvement of the family. LACH aims to serve as a support for clinics treating children by enhancing their ability to implement optimal care through providing resources including but not limited to: training, funding child life specialists, child-friendly environments, consulting, research, and education. The association is driven to make sustainable and evidence-based enhancements to Luxembourgish pediatric healthcare, bringing the country on par with global best practice standards for Luxembourg’s children, families, and healthcare professionals alike.

LACH is currently fundraising for a child life specialist project benefiting a local children’s hospital in Luxembourg. The association welcomes the community to come learn about the project and to consider taking part in shaping the future of child-friendly healthcare in the Grand Duchy through a financial contribution.
