Guess is a fashion company created by four brothers of Moroccan origin: Paul, Georges, Maurice and Armand Marciano in 1981. At the beginning of their career, they make jeans. They combine European style with American fabric, denim, which is so chic. For that they leave Marseille for Los Angeles.

Today the brand has become one of the most recognized clothing companies in the world. At the end of 2010, there were 1,200 Guess and Guess Accessories stores in 80 countries. Two of the founding brothers, Maurice and Paul Marciano, are still at the head of the group.
